Clear Drops

These bespoke clear resin pendants were first designed to hang in the trees over a terrace of a private house. Some contain dried grasses and seed heads and others fragments of irridescent sea shells hand picked from a local sand dune. They hang like ‘jewels’ by day catching the suns rays and then by night create pools of light beneath via an led light source concealed within the top of the fitting.

Each fitting is hung on a ‘hemp’ covered cable which is knotted around the branches then woven into a larger ‘rope’ and curled down the tree trunk to a concealed power supply. A really magical way to light a terrace.

The concept of these ‘drops’ can be furthered developed with different forms, scales and the object we chose to embed in the resin.
